Lights! Camera! Action! On February 17, we will celebrate Northside’s 10th Annual Formal Dinner, “A Night at the Oscars.” Students will enjoy a special meal with support from a visiting Taher Chef and experience fun, film-inspired touches throughout the day!

Please encourage your child to practice good manners, positive behavior, and respectful conversation! Students are invited to dress nicely and help us create a festive, memorable atmosphere for all!

Northside Elementary K - 2nd Grade Title One Family Engagement Night

Please join us next Tuesday for our Title One K - 2nd Grade Family Engagement Night as we welcome magician Curtis Hed for “Magic of Reading – Family Night Edition!”

This Title One event supports family involvement and encourages a love of reading through fun, engaging magic. Showtimes include K–2nd at 1:05 p.m., 3rd–5th at 2:05 p.m., and an Evening Family Show at 6:00 p.m.! We hope you can join us!

Congratulations to Ellie Anderson and Octavio Acosta, this year's AAA Award Winners from St. James Public Schools! Progress continues on the Old Gym floor replacement project! #GoSaints

Northside Elementary and St. James MS/HS School will compete in a friendly fundraiser to see which school raises the most money per student average.

The coveted PINK Basketball is on the line! Fundraising runs Monday, January 26–Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Classrooms will track totals with thermometers and sell $1 paper links (in honor or memory). The winning class will be announced Feb. 5 and recognized between the varsity games on Friday, Feb. 6, taking home the Pink Basketball for the year.

All funds support Coaches vs. Cancer and our local Relay for Life. Every dollar counts—let the competition begin! 💗🏀

Students in Grades K–2 can enjoy a special treat while supporting Northside PTO! Order forms were sent home in V.I.P.s yesterday (Thursday) or will come home this Monday!

Pre-orders will be taken Thursday, January 29th, with delivery to classrooms Friday, January 30th (afternoon). Treats will be enjoyed in class or sent home based on each teacher’s classroom plan.

Cost is $1 popcorn or $1 large pickle!
Cash only! Please send payment with your child on or before Thursday!
