Northside Elementary is excited to kick off "I Love to Read" Month beginning tomorrow, Monday, February 2nd, 2026!
We have a fun-filled month ahead with activities, daily themes, and special events that celebrate the joy of reading!

The coveted PINK Basketball is on the line! Fundraising runs Monday, January 26–Thursday, February 5, 2026.
Classrooms will track totals with thermometers and sell $1 paper links (in honor or memory). The winning class will be announced Feb. 5 and recognized between the varsity games on Friday, Feb. 6, taking home the Pink Basketball for the year.
All funds support Coaches vs. Cancer and our local Relay for Life. Every dollar counts—let the competition begin! 💗🏀
Students in Grades K–2 can enjoy a special treat while supporting Northside PTO! Order forms were sent home in V.I.P.s yesterday (Thursday) or will come home this Monday!
Pre-orders will be taken Thursday, January 29th, with delivery to classrooms Friday, January 30th (afternoon). Treats will be enjoyed in class or sent home based on each teacher’s classroom plan.
Cost is $1 popcorn or $1 large pickle!

Northside Elementary will be recognized for receiving the MESPA School of Excellence Award. The celebration will take place during the school day at 2:00pm in the Northside Gymnasium.
We are looking forward to celebrate this achievement with our students and staff!
