Northside Elementary Art Show Night is happening Monday, March 9th from 5:00pm–7:00pm!

The K–5 Art Show will be held in the cafeteria, and students may take their art projects home when they leave. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creativity and hard work of our Northside artists!

Please plan to join us for an evening of art, innovation, and community. Juice and cookies will be provided. 🍪

This month, the Sun Room Cafe was a huge hit! Our students proudly served Shirley Temples to four classrooms, and the kids absolutely loved getting to top off their drinks with a bright red maraschino cherry! Our staff also enjoyed some delicious treats, including peanut butter banana smoothies and our famous cold brew days, always a crowd favorite! As we head into March, we can’t help but wonder… what special surprise will our sneaky little leprechaun bring to the Sun Room Café next? Stay tuned! 🍀✨

Look at the #StJamesMSHS students and staff supporting Ellie Romsdahl as she competes at the individual state wrestling tournament. Ellie won her first wrestleback match by fall in 3:57. Way to go, Ellie! #GoSpartans

Congratulations to Aubrey Romsdahl on being named to the Big South Conference Gymnastics All-Conference team! St. James gymnasts completed their first gymnastics season as part of a cooperative with New Ulm. Way to go, Aubrey!

The St. James Area Girls prevailed over Pipestone Area last night 72-56.

The girls move on to the South Section Final where they will face off against Fairmont - tomorrow night at 7:00pm .

#NorthsideStJ held their Title I K-2 Family Literacy Night tonight. Families learned about #NorthsideStJ Schoolwide program and had a chance to ask questions about the program. Following the presentation, families and kids enjoyed a presentation by Mr. Curtis Hed to motivate kids to read.

Lights! Camera! Action! On February 17, we will celebrate Northside’s 10th Annual Formal Dinner, “A Night at the Oscars.” Students will enjoy a special meal with support from a visiting Taher Chef and experience fun, film-inspired touches throughout the day!

Please encourage your child to practice good manners, positive behavior, and respectful conversation! Students are invited to dress nicely and help us create a festive, memorable atmosphere for all!
