#NorthsideStJ had some students recognized as Academic All-Stars sponsored by the Synergy & Leadership Exchange. #NorthsideStJ recipients were (left-right) Juana, Sandra, Sofia, Abigail, Hadley, Ulises, and Felo.
Students were able to be nominated in the areas of: consistent to academic performance, significant improvement in achievement or has overcome barriers to academic achievement.

Friday was #NorthsideStJ Track and Field Day! Students had the chance to show their best on various events throughout the morning (K-2) and afternoon (3-5). A highlight for kids & teachers was the chance to dunk Mr. Monson and Mr. Dawson. #GoSaints
#NorthsideStJ G3 students learned about civic discourse this year and had the opportunity to exercise their learning this morning with "Cookies and Juice" with Mayor Sturm and Joe McCabe, Chamber of Commerce Director.
Mayor Sturm shared, "Students you are the future of this community and we are excited to speak to you today".
Thank you to our community leaders for allowing our students this opportunity.
On Tuesday this week, #NorthsideStJ celebrated the end of all testing, state and local! We celebrated with inflatables for all students. Thank you to our incredible Northside PTO for sponsoring this for our students.

Students from Mrs. Friesen's #NorthsideStJ G3 class had their turn on the garden with #StJamesMSHS Ag students helping them plant. The Northside Garden is coming along nicely.
Due to the weather, the Northside Buy One Get One Book Fair will be inside the main hallway of Northside this evening from 4:30-7:30pm.
The PTO Scavenger Hunt paper will also be passed out during the Book Fair for those that attend.

Grade 3-5 #NorthsideSTJ Students had the opportunity to learn about Direct Current (DC) Power and Alternating Current (AC) Power from the Bakken Museum today during their "War of the Currents" show. Thank you to South Central Electric Association and Great River Energy for covering the cost of the event. It was an "electrifying" show for our students.
#NorthsideStJ students "jumped" their hearts out today as they celebrated the Kids Heart Challenge. Thank you to Mr. Monson for helping to organize this year's event.
